Job summary

Provide medical and medication oversight, respond to emergencies, train staff, and ensure compliance in community-based group homes for adults with complex needs.

Responsibilities

Provide medical and medication oversight for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental illness in community-based group homes. Train staff in safe medication practices and health and safety procedures, respond to crises, document incidents, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and inspections.

Qualifications

basic computer skills communication compliance with laws crisis intervention medical care medication management mental health support teamwork training staff

An active Massachusetts LPN license, a driver's license, and a reliable car are required; an active Massachusetts RN license is preferred. Experience supporting mental health needs, clear communication, basic computer skills, teamwork, and fluency in English are also specified.
