Job summary

Provide nursing care to surgical and trauma patients in a Level I Trauma Center, focusing on critical care and multidisciplinary treatment, with requirements including a BSN, critical care experience, and licensure.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in a 22-bed Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit, caring for neurosurgical, general surgical, and adult and pediatric trauma patients. Work as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team to deliver a higher level of critical care.

Qualifications

ACLS BLS BSN Critical Care Trauma Nursing

A BSN is required, or the candidate must commit to obtaining one within three years of hire, along with at least 1–2 years of stepdown experience. Critical care experience is strongly preferred; BLS is required and ACLS is preferred.
