Job summary

Registered Nurse in surgical and trauma ICU with responsibilities including patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary team, and working with neurosurgical, general surgical, and trauma patients.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in a 22-bed Surgical/T trauma Intensive Care Unit, caring for neurosurgical, general surgical, and adult and pediatric trauma patients. Work as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary nursing team to deliver a higher level of care.

Qualifications

ACLS adult-pediatric trauma BLS collaborative practice critical care critical care experience neurosurgical care nursing surgical nursing trauma care

A BSN is required, or the candidate must commit to obtaining one within three years of hire. Candidates must have at least 1–2 years of stepdown experience; critical care experience is strongly preferred, BLS is required, and ACLS is preferred.
