Job summary

Provide specialized nursing care in a Surgical/Trauma ICU, working with neurosurgical, general surgical, and trauma patients, following established care protocols, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to neurosurgical, general surgical, and adult and pediatric trauma patients in a 22-bed Surgical/T trauma Intensive Care Unit. Work as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary nursing team to deliver a higher level of critical care.

Qualifications

clinical skills critical care nursing patient care trauma care

A BSN is required, or the candidate must commit to obtaining one within three years of hire, and at least 1–2 years of stepdown experience is required. Critical care experience is strongly preferred; BLS is required and ACLS is preferred.
