Nemours is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Resident for the 5 West Hematology/Oncology/Transplant and Cellular Therapy Unit, providing inpatient care for pediatric patients with complex diagnoses requiring chemotherapy, biotherapy, and transplant care. The role involves coordinating patient care as part of an inter-professional team, maintaining certifications like APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, Hematology & Oncology, and PALS, with a focus on pediatric hematology/oncology.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide complex inpatient care for pediatric patients in the Hematology/Oncology/Transplant unit, including chemotherapy and biotherapy administration. They are responsible for coordinating care as part of an inter-professional team and managing patients with diverse diagnoses such as leukemia, sickle cell disease, and diabetes.

Qualifications

biotherapy certification in pediatric hematology oncology chemotherapy hematology nursing nursing oncology nursing PALS transplant nursing

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and eligible for a Delaware or compact nursing license. Applicants are required to hold current AHA Healthcare Provider certification and must obtain PALS certification within one year of hire.
