Job summary

Seeking a Pediatric Oncology & Cellular Therapies Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant for inpatient management of pediatric hematology and oncology patients, including those undergoing stem cell transplants and cellular therapies. Responsibilities include disease evaluation, chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration, and supportive care management, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Manage inpatient pediatric hematology and oncology patients, including children receiving stem cell transplants or cellular therapies, and provide continuity in disease evaluation, chemotherapy or immunotherapy, and supportive care in collaboration with an attending hematologist/oncologist. Provide outpatient coverage as needed and use computerized order entry to order treatments and supportive medications safely.

Applicants must have a master's or doctorate degree appropriate to a nursing or physician assistant program and be a certified Pediatric Acute Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a certified Physician Assistant. Pediatric oncology and/or transplant or cellular therapy experience is highly preferred, and CPR-BLS certification is required at appointment.
