Job summary

A registered nurse coordinates and provides home infusion care, ensuring patient safety, efficacy of treatments, and compliance with physician plans, primarily assisting patients in their homes or infusion suites.

Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse provides direct patient care, administers medications, and develops nursing treatment plans in home or alternate site settings. They also educate patients and caregivers while ensuring clinical documentation and physician orders are maintained for continuity of care.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice and have at least one year of nursing experience. A current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for business travel are also required.
