Job summary

Provides support in patient care, performs cleaning, inventory, and documentation under RN supervision in an eye care clinic.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Attendant provides direct patient care support under the direction of a Registered Nurse, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with patient transfers. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, stocking supplies, and preparing instruments for sterilization.

Qualifications

Cleaning Communication Inventory Management Medical Assistance Patient Care Patient Transfer Safety Procedures Sterilization Vital Signs

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience or training. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients.
