Registered Nurse position working 30 hours per week night shift at Christiana Hospital's 3C Medical Unit Stepdown, providing holistic patient care for acutely ill patients, managing emergencies, and supporting patient education.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will deliver holistic, patient-centered care while monitoring patients and managing potential emergencies in a medical stepdown unit. They are responsible for educating patients on medications and disease processes while maintaining a 4-5 patient assignment.

Qualifications

Communication Skills Compassion Critical Thinking Emergency Management Medication & Disease Education Patient Care Teamwork Telemetry Monitoring Trach & High Flow Nasal Cannula Management Wound Care

Candidates must hold a BSN degree and possess at least one year of relevant experience, with acute or sub-acute care experience preferred. A current BLS certification is required for the position.
