Responsibilities

The Registered After-Hours Nurse provides direct patient care and rapid response to patient and family needs during evening and after-hours periods. Responsibilities include coordinating with the clinical team, managing symptoms, performing pronouncements of death, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Aseptic Technique Communication Skills Documentation Medical Knowledge Pain Management Patient Care Professional Nursing Standards Symptom Management Team Coordination Time Management

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license. Three years of nursing experience is preferred, with a strong preference for hospice or medical-surgical backgrounds.
