Job summary

The Paramedic provides critical emergency care and support to patients in the Emergency Department, performing vital signs, emergency procedures, patient transport, wound care, and assisting with advanced life support.

Responsibilities

The Paramedic provides direct clinical support and patient care within the Emergency Department, including monitoring vital signs and performing specialized procedures. They also assist with patient flow, equipment maintenance, and documentation of patient health status.

Qualifications

EKG emergency care equipment maintenance IV insertion life support (ACLS/PALS) medication administration patient transport phlebotomy vital signs measurement wound dressing

Candidates must hold a valid Indiana EMT-P certification and obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire. No prior experience is required, though one year of paramedic experience is preferred.
