Job summary

Part-time Paramedic in Emergency Department responsible for providing acute medical care, supporting patient stabilization, performing vital signs and procedures, assisting with transportation, and adhering to medical protocols under supervision.

Responsibilities

Collects patient health status information and provides emergent care under RN supervision in the Emergency Department. Performs clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKG application, and lifesaving measures to maintain effective patient flow.

Qualifications

advanced cardiac life support basic life support emergency care IV insertion patient communication patient transport pediatric advanced life support phlebotomy vital signs wound dressing

Requires State of Indiana EMT-P certification and Basic Life Safety certification. ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
