Job summary

The Operations Supervisor leads ground teams managing inbound and outbound shipment processing, coverage, escalation handling, data quality, and team development during rotating shifts, primarily overseeing service delivery, process compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves shift supervision, team coaching, escalation management, data auditing, and performance reporting in a logistics environment.

Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor leads outbound and inbound specialist teams to ensure seamless ground shipment lifecycle execution and service quality. They are responsible for monitoring queue coverage, managing escalations, maintaining data integrity, and developing team performance through coaching and process adherence.

Qualifications

Candidates must have 4–6 years of experience in transportation or 3PL operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in transportation management systems and the ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment are required.
