Job summary

As the Director of Field Engineering, you will lead a team of pre-sales Managers and Solutions Architects in the Financial Services sector, focusing on acquiring new customers and driving strategy for Data and AI solutions using Databricks platform. Responsibilities include managing a high-growth technical team, building customer relationships, and supporting complex sales cycles with a focus on business value.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of pre-sales managers and solutions architects to drive the acquisition of new enterprise customers within the financial services sector. Partner with sales organizations to close revenue opportunities and democratize Data and AI using Databricks solutions.

Qualifications

Big Data/Analytics Customer Relationship Management Data & AI Data Engineering Data Science Enterprise Software Leadership Sales Enablement Solution Architecture Strategic Planning

Requires at least 10 years of overall leadership experience, including 3 years of second-line management of teams with 30+ individuals. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and a proven track record in high-growth enterprise software pre-sales are required.
