Job summary

The Caisson Operative manages dockyard infrastructure, supporting vessel docking and undocking, monitoring water and safety systems, and performing maintenance in maritime environment.

Responsibilities

The Caisson Operative is responsible for the operation and maintenance of critical dockyard infrastructure, including pump houses and caissons, to support vessel docking and undocking. They also lead ship movements and assist with structural surveys and maintenance activities within the dockyard environment.

Qualifications

Candidates must have experience working in operational, industrial, or maritime environments and be comfortable using mechanical equipment safely. Applicants must be sole UK Nationals capable of achieving and maintaining Security Check (SC) clearance.
