Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer supporting the Technical Capability of the Client Design Authority, focusing on civil and structural design, safety assessments, infrastructure evaluation, and compliance in a highly regulated high-risk environment, primarily supporting defence infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

The role involves delivering technical excellence in the specification and assessment of engineering design packages for key defence infrastructure. Key duties include conducting plant walkdowns for Periodic Safety Reviews and ensuring infrastructure complies with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering Design Assessment HAZID HAZOP Plant Walkdowns Reinforced Concrete Reliability Requirements Safety Case Development Steel Structures Structural Design

Candidates must hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and IEng status, with experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures under dynamic loads. Experience in high-hazard or nuclear environments and familiarity with safety case techniques like HAZID/HAZOP is highly desired.
