Job summary

The Senior Civil Engineer supports operations at client sites within a multidisciplinary team, developing and assessing engineering design substantiations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in high-hazard environments, especially nuclear. Key tasks include managing design changes, presenting safety reviews, conducting independent technical reviews, and applying both practical and theoretical methods across project phases.

Responsibilities

The Senior Civil Engineer will develop, assess, and manage design substantiation documents while ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements. They will also lead design changes, present to safety committees, and provide expert engineering advice to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in design assessment for reinforced concrete and steelwork structures within high-hazard industries. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with Chartered or Incorporated engineer status.
