Job summary

A registered nurse provides direct outpatient dialysis care, monitors patients, collaborates with a clinical team, educates patients on kidney health, and floats to clinics as needed. No dialysis experience required; focus on compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting, monitoring their health and managing treatment plans. Educate patients and families, collaborate with the clinical team, respond to changes in patient health, and float to nearby clinics as needed.

Qualifications

An active RN license in the state of practice and an associate degree in nursing are required; a BSN is preferred. Candidates should have basic computer proficiency and reliable transportation for potential clinic floating; dialysis experience is not required, while critical care or medical-surgical experience and CNN/CDN certification are preferred.
