Job summary

A Seasonal Cashier provides fast, friendly customer service, processes transactions, answers questions, promotes loyalty programs, and maintains store standards. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, handling alcohol sales appropriately, and participating in product training. The role supports customer engagement and store operations in a retail environment, with an emphasis on excellent service and compliance.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately, provide friendly and personalized service, answer questions, and promote loyalty programs. Maintain product knowledge, store safety and cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol sales laws while supporting sales, merchandising, and stocking duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Alcohol Sale Laws Cash Handling Customer Service Inventory Management Loyalty Programs Point-of-Sale Systems Product Knowledge

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with 1–3 years of work experience and preferably at least one year in retail. Candidates must be at least 21, able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends, and capable of meeting the stated physical demands; familiarity with point-of-sale and inventory systems is also expected.
