Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Technical Director, Applied AI to lead the technical direction of agentic AI systems embedded in Roblox Studio, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing AI-powered features and platforms at scale for a creative, developer-focused audience.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction and architecture of agentic AI systems integrated into the Roblox Studio AI-Native IDE. This includes designing production-grade planning and execution systems while optimizing for latency, throughput, and cost.

Qualifications

AI Systems Coding Models Evaluation Frameworks Large Language Models Reinforcement Learning Software Engineering System Architecture

Requires over 12 years of engineering experience with a deep background in building production-level LLM and agentic systems. Candidates must have a proven track record in developer tools and defining AI quality evaluation frameworks.
