Responsibilities

The JeffSTAT Paramedic provides critical care to patients during inter-facility and emergency transports while adhering to established treatment protocols. They are also responsible for maintaining medical equipment, documenting patient assessments, and educating families throughout the transport process.

Qualifications

chest decompression EKG interpretation external ventricular devices Intubation Invasive patient monitoring devices IV insertion Mechanical cardiac assist devices medication administration

Candidates must have at least three years of field paramedic experience in a critical care or 911 ALS setting and hold active Pennsylvania Paramedic and National Registered Paramedic certifications. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS are required, with specific advanced certifications needed within six months of hire.
