Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient-centered care in the operating room by utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. They collaborate with inter-professional teams to manage patient needs, ensure safety, and facilitate effective communication with patients and their families.

Qualifications

BLS communication cultural awareness discharge planning education techniques health information documentation medication administration nursing patient assessment patient care

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold an active Pennsylvania RN license along with BLS certification. Prior operating room experience or completion of Periop 101 is required, with a BSN preferred.
