Job summary

As an Engineering Support Fabricator, you will perform fabrication, welding, and repair activities supporting naval maintenance and refit operations. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, fault investigation, and ensuring operational readiness of submarines and surface ships at HMNB Clyde Faslane.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing light to heavy fabrication and structural maintenance on submarines and surface ships. You will interpret engineering drawings to repair systems while ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a recognised Welding/Fabrication/Plater Apprenticeship at SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Experience in maintenance procedures and the ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance are essential.
