Job summary

Provide patient-centered nursing care in an acute hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver safe, culturally competent care while adhering to protocols and improving quality and safety outcomes.

Responsibilities

The registered nurse will provide patient- and family-centered care by developing individualized nursing plans and integrating evidence-based practices. They are responsible for medication administration, patient education, and collaborating with inter-professional teams to ensure safe and compassionate care.

Qualifications

BLS - Basic Life Support Cultural competence Discharge planning Evidence-Based Practice Health information documentation Medication administration Nursing process Patient assessment Patient education RN - Registered Nurse license

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid Pennsylvania RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and a BSN is strongly preferred.
