Job summary

The Assurance Experienced Senior oversees audit planning, fieldwork, and review, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB regulations. Responsibilities include evaluating internal controls, preparing financial statements, and supervising audit staff, with a focus on high-quality, efficient audits in a public accounting environment.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day audit engagements from planning through fieldwork and wrap-up, including preparing or reviewing financial statements, testing controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. Coordinate client and team activities, manage budgets and audit documentation, supervise and coach audit staff, and communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Accounting Auditing Financial Statement Preparation GAAP Internal Controls Research

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics is required, or a bachelor’s degree in another field together with CPA certification; a master’s degree in accountancy is preferred. Candidates need at least three years of relevant audit or related professional experience, must be eligible to sit for and actively pursuing the CPA exams, and should have strong communication, delegation, audit leadership, and financial statement skills.
