Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant aids in patient care under physician supervision including preparing patients, assisting treatments, testing, recording, and patient communication across diverse age groups. Performs additional clinical and front office tasks, with ongoing competency assessments.

Responsibilities

The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct patient care under physician supervision, including preparing patients for exams and assisting during treatments. They are also responsible for maintaining electronic medical records, performing laboratory and radiology tasks, and managing front office duties.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a current Medical Assistant license appropriate for the state of employment and be able to obtain licensure in other states as required. A minimum of 6 months of experience is preferred, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory by the date of hire.
