Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides patient- and family-centered care in the operating room, utilizing the nursing process to address physical, psychological, and social needs. They collaborate with inter-professional teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care while maintaining accurate health information documentation.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) Clinical judgment Cultural awareness Discharge planning Effective communication Health information documentation Medication administration Patient and family education Patient assessment Registered Nurse (RN)

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license and BLS certification. A BSN degree and at least one year of acute care experience are strongly preferred.
