Job summary

The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, programming PLCs, improving processes, and conducting routine and preventative maintenance in a GMP-compliant environment. The technician will lead technical projects, implement continuous improvements, and ensure safety and documentation standards are met.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing machine changeovers, breakdowns, and routine maintenance to ensure production efficiency and GMP compliance. They will also lead engineering improvement projects and participate in root cause analysis for major equipment issues.

Candidates must hold an Advanced Certificate (Craft-level 6 NFQ) or a degree in Engineering, with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to program PLCs, are essential for this role.
