Job summary

A Stores Operative supports warehouse activities including loading/unloading wagons, moving materials, maintaining stock records on D365, packing, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the storage yard. The role involves physical tasks, safety adherence, and basic inventory management, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Stores Operative is responsible for loading and offloading wagons and moving materials across the site using handling equipment. Key duties include maintaining accurate stock records in D365 and supervising the production cleaning department.

Qualifications

cleaning communication computer skills (D365) health and safety procedures inspection and quality control material handling packing and loading stock management teamwork weighing and recording

The ideal candidate should be a good communicator and team player capable of working unsupervised. They must be able to work safely and promptly record material movements in the system.
