Job summary

The Safety Coordinator assists in ensuring safety and environmental compliance on construction sites, conducting safety audits, and supporting incident investigations to mitigate risks. This role involves collaboration with various teams to promote safety standards and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Advise company business units on safety, ensure employees and project partners comply with company and regulatory requirements, and provide safety guidance during project planning. Conduct jobsite audits, contribute to safety meetings, support incident investigations when needed, and help improve jobsite safety.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 1–3 years of experience. Candidates should have current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, knowledge of applicable safety standards, strong communication and organizational skills, computer proficiency, reliable transportation, and a good driving record; OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
