Job summary

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you will work with customers to build and productionize data and AI solutions using the Databricks platform. Your role involves overseeing architecture, leading design decisions, implementing end-to-end systems, and working closely with clients to solve complex problems involving data engineering, AI, and application development. The position requires strong technical expertise, customer engagement skills, and experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of production-grade data and AI solutions for retail customers using the Databricks platform. Collaborate cross-functionally to build reference architectures and integrate ML/AI models into end-to-end systems.

Qualifications

AI APIs Apache Spark Cloud Ecosystems Data Engineering Data Platforms & Analytics Distributed Computing JavaScript/TypeScript MLOps Python Scala

Requires 6+ years of experience in data or software engineering with proficiency in Python, Scala, or TypeScript and expertise in at least one major cloud provider. Must have deep experience with Apache Spark, distributed computing, and the ability to manage technical project delivery for enterprise clients.
