Job summary

The Assessment Coordinator conducts assessments, schedules appointments, provides clerical and intake support, and collaborates with staff to facilitate patient care in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

The Assessment Coordinator assesses callers to determine appropriate psychiatric services and schedules initial assessments for individuals seeking treatment. They also manage admission paperwork, coordinate patient orientation, and provide clerical support to the Care Coordination team.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is preferred for this position. Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire and possess strong clinical assessment skills.
