Job summary

The Consumer Lending Analyst at Leaders Credit Union reviews and evaluates loan applications, manages the Loan Origination System, and collaborates with members and dealer partners to facilitate loan approvals. The role involves decision-making, system administration, process improvement, and compliance with lending policies within a member-focused financial environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate consumer loan applications and supporting documents, make decisions within delegated lending authority, and communicate decisions or requests for additional information to applicants and dealer partners. Administer and improve the Loan Origination System, including user access, workflows, automated decisioning, testing, vendor coordination, and support for internal users.

The role seeks 3 to 5 years of similar experience and a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or a related field; consumer lending underwriting experience is preferred. Strong Loan Origination System experience, data and reporting skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, process-improvement ability, clear communication, and knowledge of lending standards and regulations are also sought.
