Job summary

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Assist in directing and supervising all functions, duties and activities for the department. Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities

The Grocery Person-in-Charge assists the department manager in supervising daily operations, meeting sales goals, and maintaining quality standards. They are responsible for fostering a safe, clean environment and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

Basic Math Communication Customer Service Equipment Operation Food Safety Inventory Management Point of Sale (POS) Safety Procedures Teamwork

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with effective communication skills and basic math proficiency. A high school diploma, management experience, and retail or grocery background are preferred.
