Job summary

This role is for a registered nurse specialized in pediatric cardiac intensive care at Children’s National Hospital, managing critically ill infants and children with advanced therapies such as ECMO, VAD, and heart transplant support. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to monitor, respond to emergencies, and deliver family-centered care, focusing on improving outcomes for highly vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities

Provide highly specialized care for critically ill infants and children with complex cardiovascular conditions in a Level IV Pediatric ICU. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage advanced therapies including ECMO and VADs while delivering family-centered care.

Qualifications
