Job summary

Aurora seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and integrate electro-mechanical hardware modules for the Aurora Driver Kit, supporting all stages from concept to mass production, with a focus on electronics packaging, vehicle integration, and safety-critical environments.

Responsibilities

You will lead the mechanical design and integration of compute hardware modules for the Aurora Driver, ensuring robust and manufacturable solutions. This role involves cross-functional collaboration from initial concept through to mass production and vehicle deployment.

Qualifications

CAD Catia 3DX Diecasting Electronics Packaging GD&T Injection Molding Manufacturing Processes Mechanical Design Mechanical Parts Design Vehicle Integration

Candidates must hold a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of industry experience. Proficiency in CAD design, GD&T, and experience with high-volume manufacturing processes for electronics packaging are required.
