Job summary

The Lead Project Engineer – CCS executes technical duties within a Railway Systems Project team, focusing on risk-based assurance, design acceptance, configuration management, and technical coordination for HS2 railway projects, including safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead the risk-based technical assurance and integration of railway system design, construction, and handover into operations. Execute legal and contractual duties as a Principal Designer Representative and NEC3 Supervisor to ensure compliance with HS2 standards.

Qualifications

Design Review Engineering Leadership Environmental and Safety Regulations NEC3 Supervisor Duties Project Coordination Regulation Compliance Risk Management Stakeholder Management Systems Integration Technical Assurance

Requires extensive experience in multi-disciplinary engineering, safety standards, and depot design within complex delivery programmes. Candidates should be Chartered Engineers or have equivalent experience with a strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and CSM-RA.
