Job summary

Performs skilled nursing functions under the direction of medical practitioners, including personal care, medication administration, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings. Provides care in compliance with laws, standards, and care plans while collaborating with other team members and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

The nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client's care plan. Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring patient findings, and performing specialized pediatric procedures such as ventilator management.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and hold a current RN or LPN license in the state of operation. A current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with insurance are also required.
