Job summary

Support manufacturing processes by applying engineering tools and methods to improve quality, productivity, and safety in a high-security engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver manufacturing engineering support to AWE programmes by applying engineering methods, tools, and processes. Develop solutions that meet safety and performance requirements while improving productivity, reliability, innovation, and quality, and deliver assigned work to agreed objectives.

Qualifications

Analytical capability Decision making Engineering methods IT systems & software Manufacturing engineering Problem solving Safety Systems Thinking Teamwork

Requires an ONC, HNC, HND, or NVQ Level 3 or 4 STEM vocational qualification, supported by considerable practical experience, along with a proven record of technical delivery and continuous improvement. Candidates should have product or domain awareness, follow company processes and maintain management-system records, demonstrate strong engineering and teamwork capabilities, and be willing to travel in the UK and overseas.
