Job summary

The Lead Senior Engineer will oversee and lead infrastructure projects, focusing on bridges and highway structures, ensuring adherence to technical standards, managing project budgets, and mentoring junior staff. The role involves design review, client liaison, bid preparation, and safety management, requiring experience in structural engineering, project leadership, and relevant software tools. A Chartered Engineer and experience with highway and bridge projects are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team to deliver technically sound engineering solutions for transport infrastructure while ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Manage project budgets, oversee junior staff, and contribute to business development and bid preparation.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Bridge Engineering Communication Skills Health & Safety Regulations Microsoft Office Project Management Risk Assessment STAAD.Pro Structural Design Team Leadership

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate subject and Chartered status with the ICE or IStructE. Candidates must have extensive experience in structural engineering, project management, and a strong understanding of CDM regulations and risk assessment.
