Job summary

The role involves supporting and leading the design of mechanical systems (such as HVAC, CHW, LTHW) for data centres, providing technical advice, producing specifications, and overseeing installation to ensure standards compliance. The position requires Chartered status or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of UK/EU regulations, and skills in various mechanical design calculations and software, within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

The role involves leading the design of mechanical systems for mission-critical data centre projects and providing technical advice to clients. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other disciplines, producing technical specifications, and monitoring installation compliance.

Qualifications

BMS Systems Control Valves Duct Sizing Fan Sizing HVAC Mechanical Design Piping Psychrometrics Pump Sizing Thermal Modelling

Candidates must have experience in designing mechanical systems for data centres and possess or be working towards Chartered status with CIBSE or IMechE. Proficiency in RevitMEP, AutoCAD, and relevant UK/EU regulations is essential, along with the ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC) vetting.
