Job summary

The role of the Specialist Solutions Architect in Data Engineering & Warehousing involves providing technical leadership and guidance to enterprise customers on cloud data transformations, leveraging hands-on experience with large-scale data and lakehouse architectures. Responsibilities include building pipelines, optimizing workloads, supporting pre-sales, and building domain expertise across data lake architectures, streaming, ingestion workflows, and observability across cloud platforms, with a focus on validation and performance of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

Responsibilities

You will guide strategic enterprise customers through cloud data engineering transformations and optimize mission-critical data warehousing workloads. Additionally, you will partner with Solutions Architects on complex pre-sales engagements and demonstrate the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

Qualifications

Data Engineering Data Observability Data Warehousing Java Kafka Lakehouse Architecture Python Scala Spark Streaming SQL

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in technical roles with deep expertise in data engineering, Spark, and modern lakehouse architectures. A bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, along with proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language like Python, Scala, or Java.
