Job summary

Responds in emergency medical vehicle, provides basic life support care, performs emergency procedures, and transports critically ill or injured patients.

Responsibilities

Responds to emergency and non-emergency scenes to provide immediate basic life support and patient transport. Performs specialized life-sustaining procedures and non-invasive medical functions while en route to the hospital.

Qualifications

Advanced Life Support AED Basic Life Support Bone Splinting CPR Emergency Medical Technician Emergency Vehicle Operation Patient Care

Requires Indiana State EMT certification or national certification with the ability to obtain Indiana licensure within 30 days. Must hold a valid Indiana driver's license and Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
