Job summary

Design and oversee electrical substation projects ranging from 11kV to 132kV, including producing detailed drawings, specifications, feasibility reports, and reviewing supplier designs. Ensures compliance with safety, standards, and legislation, while managing client relationships and project timelines.

Responsibilities

The engineer will produce comprehensive design drawings, technical specifications, and feasibility reports for HV and EHV substations ranging from 11kV to 132kV. They will also act as a CDM Designer, ensuring all project designs comply with safety legislation and client requirements.

Cable Design and Protection CDM Regulations Cost Estimation Electrical Design Feasibility Reports GIS & AIS Substations Health and Safety HV and EHV Substation Legislation and Policies Substation Specifications

Candidates must hold a minimum qualification of HNC in Electrical Engineering and possess proven experience in HV/EHV substation design. Strong knowledge of engineering standards, CDM regulations, and the ability to interpret complex technical documentation are essential.
