Job summary

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Databricks, you will work directly with customers to design, build, and implement solutions using the Databricks platform, focusing on data engineering, AI, and application development. The role involves leading architecture, managing technical projects, guiding customers on best practices, and embedding with client teams to deliver impactful, scalable data and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of production-grade data and AI solutions for retail customers using the Databricks platform. Collaborate cross-functionally to build reference architectures and guide strategic customers through transformational big data projects.

Qualifications

Analytics AWS Azure Cloud ecosystems Data engineering Data platforms JavaScript/TypeScript Python Scala Software engineering

Requires 6+ years of experience in data or software engineering with proficiency in Python, Scala, or TypeScript and expertise in at least one major cloud ecosystem. Candidates must have deep experience with Apache Spark and the ability to deploy end-to-end production data architectures.
