Job summary

Electrical Substation Design Engineer responsible for designing high-voltage substations from 110kV to 400kV, producing design drawings, specifications, feasibility reports, and reviewing designs to ensure compliance and safety in power transmission infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Substation Design Engineer will deliver power transmission infrastructure for Net Zero projects, including producing design drawings, technical specifications, and feasibility reports. They will also conduct design reviews, manage health and safety risks, and attend site inspections and client meetings.

Qualifications

AIS Cable Design and Protection Cost Estimation Electrical Engineering Electrical Plant Specifications Feasibility Reports GIS HV and MV substation design Substation Design Technical Drawings

Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess proven experience in HV and MV substation design from 110kV to 400kV. Knowledge of EirGrid and ESB Networks engineering standards is required, along with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
