Job summary

An Infusion Nurse II is a licensed registered nurse who coordinates and provides intermediate direct patient care to patients in the home, or in an alternate infusion suite, to ensure patient safety with continuity and compliance under a physician’s plan of care. Works under structured supervision of the designated supervisor.

Responsibilities

The Infusion Nurse coordinates and provides direct patient care, including administering medications and performing treatments in home or alternate settings. They are responsible for developing nursing plans, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice and have at least one year of nursing experience. A current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for business travel are also required.
