Job summary

Registered Nurse position in Med/Surg Behavioral Health unit at Methodist Hospital. Involves caring for patients with primary medical and psychiatric diagnoses, using a variety of medical and psychiatric skills, in a supportive team environment. Requires active RN license and BLS certification, with preferred BSN.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care across medical-surgical and behavioral health units, including cross-training in secured holding and ECT areas. Responsibilities include managing patients with primary medical and secondary psychiatric diagnoses while maintaining a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

Candidates must hold an Associate of Nursing degree and an active Indiana or NLC Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support certification is required, and candidates should have experience or training in acute care settings.
