Job summary

Monitoring and interpreting ECG data and alarms, documenting findings, communicating with healthcare team, ensuring patient safety, and supporting training activities in a telemetry tech role at a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor and interpret ECG monitors to identify and communicate rhythm changes to the nursing staff. Document all interpretations and technical monitor issues while supporting the healthcare team and patients.

Qualifications

SPO2 Monitoring Alarm Response Documentation Dysrhythmia ECG Monitoring Electronic Equipment Operation Heart Blocks Patient Safety Performance Improvement Team Communication

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia course. Previous experience with dysrhythmia, heart blocks, and SPO2 monitoring is preferred.
