Job summary

A maintenance engineer is responsible for providing technical support, conducting preventive and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment, diagnosing faults, and supporting process improvements within a fast-paced food production facility.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support across manufacturing and packaging lines to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime. Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance while adhering to food safety and health standards.

Qualifications

Communication Skills Continuous Improvement Principles Diagnostics Electrical Fault Finding Electrical Knowledge Fault-Finding GAS Safety Certification Lean Manufacturing Mechanical Systems PLC-controlled Equipment

Requires a time-served engineer with an HNC/HND/NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Must possess strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work a continental shift pattern.
